Notes:
· Saint Francis will provide course monitors at all important turns, etc.
· Splits will be given to the runners at 1600 and 3200 meters.
·
A trainer will be present to
handle any health issues. Please
do not ask the trainer to provide taping prior to the meet.
Please inform all of your athletes and parents that:
- No one not running is allowed on the Golf Course side of the creek.
- No one is allowed on the Golf Course.
- No one is allowed in the walk anywhere that is not a
trail. There are
nesting owls and other wildlife in the fields. The Park Ranger will be
present at the meet and will fine anyone not on trails. Also, if we do
not observe these rules, we stand a good chance of being denied the
use of the facilities in the future.
A
good place to watch the race is from the top of the hill in the middle of the
park portion of
the course (see photo below). The best way to get to the top of the hill is to
take the trail from
Amphitheatre Parkway staring up the hill to the top. DO NOT CUT ACROSS
THE FIELDS!
